Supporting SEA' s development with a Sustainability-Linked financing

The IMI Corporate & Investment Banking Division took part, alongside a pool of banks, in a total €350 million financing transaction, fully structured as Sustainability-Linked and with a 5-year tenor, in support of SEA Milan Airports, the company managing Milan Malpensa and Milan Linate airports.

The structure of the transaction includes a €250 million revolving credit facility (RCF) of and a €100 million term facility.

Thanks to this transaction, SEA will be able to fully refinance the RCF facilities maturing in 2027, maintain a high level of financial flexibility in the coming years, and, thanks to the new term facility, support its investment plan for the next five years.

With this transaction, Intesa Sanpaolo reaffirms its commitment to supporting investment programmes and infrastructure development, contributing to the growth of strategic assets for the local area and the national economy.
