Sustainability-linked revolving credit facility to Aedifica

Intesa Sanpaolo's IMI Corporate & Investment Banking Division participated in a EUR 620M pool financing for Aedifica, a Regulated Real Estate Company (RREC) under Belgian law specialised in European healthcare real estate, particularly in elderly care.

The Division acted as Bookrunner, Coordinator and Sustainability Coordinator in this sustainability-linked Revolving Credit Facility that aims at refinancing Aedifica's existing debt and supporting its portfolio growth.

The Company has developed a property portfolio with totalling approximately EUR 12.4Bn across Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Finland, Ireland, Spain, France and Italy.

Through this financing Intesa Sanpaolo, under the leadership of CEO Carlo Messina, confirms its support to leading international companies operating in strategic sectors with a strong social impact. This commitment combines financial innovation, sustainability and support for healthcare infrastructure dedicated to the care and wellbeing of people, contributing to the development of a sector that is becoming increasingly vital in addressing Europe's demographic challenges.
