The IMI Corporate & Investment Banking Division of Intesa Sanpaolo supported Alia Mentis in its listing process on the Euronext Growth Milan market of Borsa Italiana.
Following the placement—reserved for qualified and institutional investors—which saw total demand amounting to approximately three times the amount offered, the company began trading on the stock exchange on Monday, June 29.
For Alia Mentis, the stock market listing represents a strategic step aimed at supporting the company’s path of industrial and technological growth.
The funds raised will be used to: :
- develop and industrialize proprietary technologies
- expand production capacity
- monetize intellectual property
- broaden the scope of application of its solutions in its target markets.
Alia Mentis operates in the deep-tech sector and specializes in the design and industrialization of proprietary technologies for the production of advanced composite materials.
As part of the listing, Intesa Sanpaolo’s IMI Corporate & Investment Banking Division acted as Sole Global Coordinator and Bookrunner.
This initiative serves as an example of exceptional financing dedicated to SMEs, thanks to the unique integrated advisory model offered by Intesa Sanpaolo, which involves collaboration between the Banca dei Territori Division and the Mid-Cap Corporate Finance unit of the IMI CIB Division, leveraging the synergy between specialized expertise and financial instruments traditionally reserved for large corporations.
With this transaction, Intesa Sanpaolo, led by CEO Carlo Messina, reaffirms its role as a strategic partner for Italian companies in their growth, industrial transformation, and access to capital markets, while also supporting small and medium-sized enterprises in their efforts toward development, innovation, and enhanced competitiveness.
