Two major transactions earned Intesa Sanpaolo’s IMI Corporate & Investment Banking Division prestigious awards at TXF’s “Perfect 10 Export & Commodity Finance Deals of the Year 2025,” confirming its leadership in structuring and executing strategic and sustainable export finance transactions. The awards were presented during TXF Global Export, Agency & Project Finance 2026, the conference organized by Exile Group and recognized as the world’s largest event for professionals in the areas of export credit, project finance, and development finance. This year’s event, held in Prague from June 9 to 11, brought together over 1,500 attendees from more than 65 countries.

The categories in which Intesa Sanpaolo was recognized are:

  • Africa Export Finance Deal of the Year – Sonangol Finance

A €440 million SACE-backed facility supporting Sonangol Finance’s participation in the NeGaCo gas project in Angola. The transaction represents an innovative use of buyer credit financing and establishes a new template for future schemes involving Italian content in large international projects.
