Intesa Sanpaolo Bank Luxembourg named “Bank of the Year” by LFMA

Intesa Sanpaolo Bank Luxembourg has been named “Bank of the Year” by the Luxembourg Financial Markets Association (LFMA), a prestigious award conferred at the Forward Financial Thinking Forum.

During the ceremony, the key reasons behind the selection were highlighted, including the bank’s fifty-year presence and operations in Luxembourg, its recognition in January as one of only six Other Systemically Important Institutions amongst the approximately 115 banks operating in the country, and its contribution to supporting and financing the European economy.

Massimo Torchiana, Managing Director and CEO of Intesa Sanpaolo Bank Luxembourg, collected the award and commented: “Receiving this recognition in the year of our 50th anniversary has particular significance for us. Over five decades, we have built a strong business in Luxembourg, developed deep relationships with our clients and partners, and continued to broaden our capabilities as their needs have become complex. This recognition is also a tribute to the expertise and commitment of our people and to the role Luxembourg continues to play in our development”.
