Awarded as Italy’s Best Investment Bank in 2026 by Euromoney

The IMI Corporate & Investment Banking Division of Intesa Sanpaolo, led by Mauro Micillo, has been named “Italy’s Best Investment Bank” at the Euromoney Awards for Excellence 2026, considered one of the most prestigious recognition in the global financial industry.

This award acknowledges the Division’s excellence in supporting businesses through its corporate and investment banking activities, as well as its ability to help clients navigate growth, transformation and development opportunities across domestic and international markets. This recognition reinforces IMI CIB’s role as a strategic partner for companies, thanks to a business model built on specialist expertise, innovation and a strong commitment to sustainability.

This achievement adds to a well-established track record of success: in 2024, IMI CIB was also recognized by Euromoney as “Italy’s Best Investment Bank” and “Italy’s Best Bank for Corporates”, and, in March 2026, “Best Investment Bank in Italy” by Global Finance for the sixth consecutive year, highlighting the consistency of its results and the quality of its corporate offering.

As part of the Euromoney Awards for Excellence 2026, several banks within Intesa Sanpaolo’s International Banks Division also received awards: PBZ in Croatia as Croatia’s Best Retail Bank” and “Croatia’s Best Bank for ESG”, Banca Intesa Beograd as “Serbia’s Best Bank”, AlexBank as “Egypt’s Best Retail Bank” and CIB Bank as “Hungary’s Best for Mortgages/Home Loans.
