Intesa Sanpaolo is partner of Decathlon Italia, awarded at Adam Smith Awards 2023

The winners of the 16th Adam Smith Awards, organised by Treasury Today and considered a global benchmark for corporate companies for identifying best practices and leaders in innovation, were honoured in London last 26 June. The winners were selected from over 320 entries from 34 countries, characterised by a particularly high standard of quality. Among them, with the recognition of Highly Commended in the Best Transaction Management Solution category, was Decathlon Italia, nominated by Intesa Sanpaolo, IMI Corporate & Investment Banking Division for its Virtual Account solution. The service allows customers to activate a virtual account for each point of sale and all referred to a unique bank account, reducing the costs and risk associated with manual reconciliation of credits and contributing to the automation process on which Decathlon Italia is working successfully, as well as allowing more efficient supply chain management, thanks to the tracking of products sold for each shop.
