The IMI Corporate & Investment Banking Division of Intesa Sanpaolo is participating in the 12th Annual Conference of the Principles, organised by the International Capital Market Association (ICMA), taking place on 23 June 2026 at Bocconi University in Milan.

Widely recognised as the premier global event for the sustainable bond market, the conference brings together key stakeholders across the value chain – issuers, investors, intermediaries and policymakers – to discuss the latest developments and future outlook of sustainable finance.

The programme will feature high-level keynote speeches and panel discussions addressing the most relevant industry topics, including:

  • the current state of the global sustainable bond market
  • 2026 innovations and updated guidance from the Principles
  • the evolution of transition finance in bond and loan markets
  • the interaction between regulatory standards and the Principles
  • support for local market specificities, particularly in emerging markets

With a global market exceeding USD 7 trillion, the Principles serve as the key reference framework for sustainable bond issuance worldwide.

IMI CIB’s participation underscores the Division’s strong commitment to advancing sustainable finance and contributing to the international dialogue on innovation, best practices and the transition to a low-carbon economy.
