Intesa Sanpaolo supports Techbau’s growth with a EUR 110M financing to fund the construction of a sustainable logistics hub in Alessandria, reaffirming the bank’s role in promoting the ESG transition and business development.
The financing, provided through the Banca dei Territori Division, in collaboration with the Mid Cap Corporate Finance team of the IMI Corporate & Investment Banking Division, is an example of an extraordinary finance transaction dedicated to SMEs.
Techbau S.p.A. operates as a general contractor specialising in the development of civil engineering and infrastructure projects.
The project involves the development of an area of approximately 187,000 square metres and the installation of photovoltaic systems on buildings’ rooftops. The project aims to achieve LEED Platinum certification, the highest international standard for energy and environmental sustainability.
This initiative is part of Techbau's strategic plan, focused on the creation of next-generation logistics platforms, designed according to advanced ESG criteria and with attention to local integration.
