Smart International Tour: with SIMEST for the internationalisation of SMEs

The fourth edition of the Smart International Tour is under way, a project through which Intesa Sanpaolo promotes the development of Italian SMEs abroad, a factor lever for the growth, development and competitiveness of its business, also in light of the opportunities offered by the NRRP.

This year the tour, consisting of a series of webinars aimed at enhancing cross-border business opportunities for mid-corporates operating in the countries served by the Bank’s international network, it is being implemented in collaboration with SIMEST, a company of the CDP Group supporting the growth of Italian companies around the world.

The initiative is part of the new synergic model for the internationalisation of SMEs activated by the Banca dei Territori Division with the International Subsidiary Banks and IMI Corporate & Investment Banking Divisions providing additional lines of financing and a range of products and services dedicated to international development. Among the latter, of particular importance is the International Confirming, a product enabling the growth and financial support, digitally, of international supply chains.
