Winners at KPMG’s China Future - ESG Awards
Intesa Sanpaolo, the sole foreign European bank, won the 2022 Outstanding Corporate Governance Award under KPMG’s inaugural China Future - ESG Awards. The Ceremony was held in Shanghai on January 12th, 2023.
The award aims at enhancing learning and communication in ESG in China. It recognizes and inspires companies' existing practices whilst promoting ESG insight sharing and multilateral collaboration.
Intesa Sanpaolo was recognized for its contributions and achievements in the following areas:
- Established a robust sustainability governance structure;
- Hong Kong Branch's proactive engagement with its stakeholders.
This award confirms the sound sustainability corporate governance system implemented by Intesa Sanpaolo Group and the great efforts that the Group is making in achieving its ambitious ESG goals set in the 2022-25 Business Plan.
