Winners at SCI Capital Relief Trade Awards 2021

Last October 13 were held in London the SCI Capital Relief Trades Awards 2021 and during the ceremony Intesa Sanpaolo was awarded in the Transaction of the Year category for the Siena 2021 - RegCap-1 transaction.

This is a synthetic securitization concerning a portfolio of loans disbursed by Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena to Italian corporates / SMEs, mainly classified in Stage 2 for a total amount of approximately 800 million euros. The securitization represents the first transaction of its kind in Italy.

During the award ceremony, Intesa Sanpaolo also had an Honorable Mention for the GARC Energy Renewables-1 deal in the Impact Deal of the Year category.

For both transactions the IMI Corporate & Investment Banking Division acted as Arranger and Placement Agent.
