Again this year the IMI Corporate & Investment Banking Division has taken part as a sponsor in the Salone del Risparmio. This event, organised by Assogestioni, stands out as the most significant event in the investment area and offers a unique platform where the sector protagonists debate the most topical issues related to investment products. The central theme was the challenge posed by an increasingly global and competitive market.
In this context, Intesa Sanpaolo has participated as an issuer of investment certificates, proposing innovative and flexible solutions. The aim is to provide investors with the tools useful to make informed investment and portfolio allocation decisions, effectively adapting to new market scenarios.
WHAT ARE INVESTMENT CERTIFICATES
The certificates are an instrument for administered assets that combines an investment objective with a precise maturity. They may include an income component and/or exposure to market performance, offering various forms of capital protection. In addition, certificates are characterised by their flexibility, optimally adapting to investment objectives. This essential feature allows them to be issued quickly, thus offering the possibility of responding to ongoing market developments promptly.
INTESA SANPAOLO AS MARKET LEADER
Intesa Sanpaolo plays a key role on the investment certificates scene both in Italy and in Europe. In 2023, Intesa Sanpaolo was confirmed as the leading issuer of certificates in Italy, with a market share of around 60% and volumes of around EUR 15Bn. A key aspect is customer focus: this approach helps build strong customer loyalty and allows us to position ourselves as a leader in our industry.
