Support to Padania Acque for the EASI Project with RRNP Funding
The IMI Corporate & Investment Banking Division of Intesa Sanpaolo, together with a pool of banks, has granted a EUR 11.2M financing over a three-year term to Padania Acque.
This financing will support the E.A.S.I. Project (Efficientamento Reti Acquedottistiche tramite Sistema Integrato), co-financed by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (RRNP) for over EUR 23M, including EUR 19M in non-repayable grants. The works, scheduled through 2026, aim to improve key technical indicators related to water loss, service interruptions, and water quality, while also enhancing system resilience, water savings, and reducing energy consumption.
Padania Acque is the sole operator of the Integrated Water Service in the province of Cremona, serving 113 municipalities.
This transaction reaffirms Intesa Sanpaolo’s commitment to supporting projects tied to ecological transition and strategic national infrastructure.
