Sole Bookrunner in RES's capital increase of approximately EUR 20M

Intesa Sanpaolo's IMI Corporate & Investment Banking Division supported Recupero Etico Sostenibile S.p.A. (RES) as Sole Bookrunner for its capital increase of approximately EUR 20M. RES is listed on Euronext Growth Milan and operates in the circular economy and environmental sustainability sector.

The newly issued shares were offered for subscription as part of a private placement carried out through an accelerated bookbuilding procedure. An Anchor Investor participated in the transaction for approximately EUR 10M through the vehicles First4Progress 2 S.p.A. and First SICAF S.p.A.

The funds raised will support RES's investment strategy along the following three lines:

  • construction of a robotic plant for the recycling of end-of-life vehicles
  • expansion of the chemical recycling of various plastic matrices
  • implementation of specific initiatives, including the production of biobased and/or biodegradable polymers (i.e. PLA) for the pharmaceutical and biomedical sectors.

With this transaction, Intesa Sanpaolo, led by CEO Carlo Messina, confirms its role as a strategic partner for companies engaged in innovation and sustainability processes.
