Financing Prada for the acquisition of Versace

Intesa Sanpaolo, through its IMI Corporate & Investment Banking Division, was one of the two banks that underwrote the EUR 1.5Bn loan to support the acquisition of 100% of Versace by Prada S.p.A. In consideration of the available liquidity and unused credit lines, Prada Group maintains a solid and flexible financial structure.

The loan consists of a term loan component of EUR 1Bn and a bridge facility of EUR 500M.

Versace, founded in 1978 in Milan and one of the world's leading international fashion houses, an emblem of Italian luxury worldwide, will retain its creative imprint within the Prada Group and benefit from the strength of the Group's platform.

Intesa Sanpaolo once again confirms its role as a key partner for Italian excellence, supporting its growth and international expansion.
