Pool financing to Bitron’s investment and development plans
The IMI Corporate & Investment Banking Division of Intesa Sanpaolo took part in the arranging and syndication and, along with a pool of banks, in the issuing of a Schuldschein financing in favor of Bitron, an Italian multinational family-owned company active across several sectors, with a focus on the design, production, and sale of cutting-edge mechatronic systems.
The Schuldschein loan granted amounts to EUR 105M with maturities of three and five years. In addition to this transaction, a further EUR 150M five-year loan was issued through a restricted club deal to support Bitron’s investment and development plans.
The transaction aimed at diversifying Bitron's capital sources and extending the average maturity of its debt, while substantially improving existing economic conditions.
As part of the overall financial transaction, the IMI CIB Division acted as co-arranger of the Schuldschein and as Global Coordinator/MLA & Bookrunner of the Facility Agreement, confirming Intesa Sanpaolo’s commitment to supporting industrial enterprises throughout the country.
