Women’s empowerment: challenges and opportunities in the financial sector
With the aim of supporting the next generation of female leaders in facing challenges as well as, promoting the gender equality in the financial sector, the Intesa Sanpaolo’s IMI Corporate & Investment Banking Division is fostering a series of initiatives, dedicated to the women’s empowerment.
Intesa Sanpaolo is committed to providing female students from the main Italian Universities with opportunities for dialogue with some IMI CIB Division female experts.
Among these, the Female Networking & Recruiting Event of LUISS Guido Carli University in Rome, held on November 15th at the Viale Romania Campus, with the valuable contribution of colleagues Roberta Cozzolino - Global Corporate, Industry Infrastructure - and Lucia Morello - Institutional Clients, Governments & Welfare Institutions; on November 18th, the second edition of Empow(h)er in Finance has taken place, a women round table organized in collaboration with the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore of Milan, with the participation of some IMI CIB role models: Francesca Bassi - Global Banking & Markets, Corporate Finance Bdt , Ilaria Temporini - Global Corporate, Industry Infrastructure, and Biancamaria Morandi - GTB Trade Finance.
These initiatives confirm the constant commitment of Intesa Sanpaolo Group, to provide young professionals of tomorrow with a specific and concrete support in planning their own working future, within the financial sector.
