Constructive Dialogues: Obiettivo Italia 2024 in Rome

For its last stop ‘Obiettivo Italia 2024’, the travelling journey to meet companies conceived by Intesa Sanpaolo's IMI Corporate & Investment Banking Division, has arrived in Rome. Leaders and experts from some of the most representative companies in the Central Italy and, among them, relevant national companies together with important public subsidiaries were present for an in-depth discussion on sustainability, economic growth and financial innovation.

The event offered participants the opportunity to dialogue directly with the professionals of the Division, headed by Mauro Micillo, and further deepen their understanding of the topics discussed.

In a period marked by economic and geo-political uncertainty, energy transition and a growing emphasis on ESG standards, these topics are becoming increasingly important.

The programme:

Opening remarks by Michele Sorrentino, Head of IMI CIB Italian Network: direction and aspirations of the meeting

The macroeconomic scenario: the role of investments to boost growth, with Giovanni Foresti, Head of Regional Research: current economic dynamics and the vital role of investments

The frontiers of digital: trends and market scenarios, with Stefano Favale, Head of Global Transaction Banking: overview of the digitalisation process that Italian companies have been facing for some time and that is also having important repercussions on the strategic approach of the companies themselves and how the bank can support companies in this challenge and in international trade

ESG framework: regulation, risks and opportunities for companies, explored by Delia Miceli, ESG Advisory: analysis of the ESG regulatory framework at global level, impacts on companies and open points still to be addressed

Sustainable risk management and liquidity investment strategies, with Paolo Piccinini, Head of Head of Capital & Investment Solutions: overview of the integrated strategies for sustainable risk and liquidity management that the bank can offer its clients in today's complex environment.

After the success of Obiettivo Italia in 2024, we are already planning the evolution of the 2025 programme, to continue the constructive dialogue with companies, creating together future collaborations.
