Increasingly a leading player in the Spanish Financial Market

Intesa Sanpaolo, IMI Corporate & Investment Banking Division, confirms its leading role in the Spanish market where, in 2024, it ranked among the top 10 banks in syndicated loans in Spain.

Over the past two years, the Division has taken part in major financial transactions, including 13 strategic projects of international importance in the energy and infrastructure sectors for a total value of about EUR 27Bn.

Moreover, the IMI CIB Division is also confirmed as a major player in the bond market where, in the first week of October 2024, it participated in the placement of four bonds totaling EUR 6.7Bn.

 Intesa Sanpaolo has been operating in Spain for more than 50 years and intends to continue offering support to major Spanish multinationals, as well as local subsidiaries of large corporate and institutional clients.
