Awarded at The Euromoney Awards for Excellence 2024
Intesa Sanpaolo, IMI Corporate & Investment Banking Division, was awarded Best Investment Bank and Best Bank for Corporates in Italy at the Euromoney Awards for Excellence 2024, held in London on the 18th of July and considered to be the reference awards in the financial sector on an international level.
Amongst the reasons for the recognition as Best Investment Bank in Italy, Euromoney considered the stability of the bank, which enables it to generate value in a constant and continuous manner, as well as its efficiency, which allowed the Division to grow in a complicated environment, one that has seen significant staff cuts in the CIB structures of other competitors.
The Best Bank for Corporates award was given with particular reference to the services offered through Inbiz, the digital Corporate Banking portal for companies operating in Italy and abroad, which recorded a 10.4% increase in new contracts in 2023. The platform offers cutting-edge and constantly evolving solutions that allow clients to optimize treasury, cash and transaction banking flows, both for domestic operations and for international activities.
The awards confirm the commitment of the Bank led by CEO Carlo Messina in supporting the business world, also thanks to the digitalisation of the offer and services.
