Financial advisor in the Ambienta SGR - Wateralia deal

Intesa Sanpaolo's IMI Corporate & Investment Banking Division acted as financial advisor in the transaction in which Ambienta SGR sold and reinvested in Wateralia.

Ambienta, a leading European asset manager with a strong focus on environmental sustainability, sold Wateralia (platform company of the Ambienta III Fund) to a combination of the Ambienta IV Fund and the Ambienta Water Pumps continuation fund.

For Ambienta, water has always been a strategic resource and it considers it is essential to implement investments aimed at fighting its scarcity; Wateralia represents a global player active in the design, development and production of pumps for the integrated water cycle.

The Intesa Sanpaolo Group, led by CEO Carlo Messina, thus confirms its support for the many Italian and international excellences that invest in sectors linked to sustainability issues.
