Winners art Global Finance World’s Best Treasury & Cash Management Banks Awards 2023

Once again Intesa Sanpaolo has been awarded by Global Finance as one of the Best Banks for liquidity and cash management for 2023.

The winners of the 23rd annual award will be presented with their prizes at a ceremony to be held during the annual Sibos conference in Toronto in September.

Global Finance selected a global winner and others in seven key areas.

Intesa Sanpaolo won two awards:

• Best Bank for liquidity management in Western Europe
• Best Overall Bank for Cash Management in Italy

In particular, the awards were given for Inbiz Corporate Treasury, the new service that offers to Intesa Sanpaolo Corporate Clients the monitoring and management of liquidity on all bank accounts held with the Group and with their respective third party banks.

The project is part of Intesa Sanpaolo's role as Impact Bank, with a particular focus on environmental sustainability, reducing CO2 emissions associated with paper-based processes.

To select the best providers of treasury and cash management services, Global Finance used a multi-tiered evaluation process, which included nominations from banks and suppliers and input from industry analysts, business executives, technology experts and independent research. A number of subjective and objective criteria were considered, including: profitability, market share and reach, customer service, competitive pricing, product innovation, and the extent to which treasury and cash management service providers successfully differentiated themselves from their competitors in the provision of core services.
