Financial Advisor to Gewiss in the acquisition of Performance In Lighting

Gewiss and Performance In Lighting, Italian groups with a strong vocation to internationalization, have announced the agreement for the official entry into the Gewiss Group of the historic leading company in the international lighting sector.

Intesa Sanpaolo, through its IMI Corporate & Investment Banking Division, acted as financial advisor to Gewiss.

The project will allow to expand mutual business opportunities, confirming the growth path undertaken by Gewiss through the acquisition of new market shares in a strategic sector, with Performance In Lighting as fundamental asset for lighting.

A new Group is born, even more solid in its dimensions, with a turnover that exceeds EUR 600M, and an even stronger value proposition, which is boosted with increasingly innovative and connected solutions for lighting and smart lighting. This growth extends Gewiss’ supply capacity in the lighting sector but also guarantees greater penetration in international markets, where Performance In Lighting has built and consolidated its presence over the years.
