Arranger and Dealer of Cassa di Risparmio di Bolzano's Commercial Paper programme
The IMI Corporate & Investment Banking Division assisted Cassa di Risparmio di Bolzano S.p.A., as Arranger and Dealer, in the set up of the Commercial Paper programme under which C.R. Bolzano could issue securities for a total amount of 1.5 billion euro with a maturity up to 12 months.
Commercial Paper are a short-term financing tools widely used in Europe and are now accessible to Italian financial institutions following the innovations introduced with Legislative Decree 34/2020, the so-called "Decreto Rilancio".
The programme of CR Bolzano has been structured in accordance with the criteria and requirements set out in the "market convention on Short-Term European Paper" (STEP) for the relevant certification of compliance (STEP label).
The instruments will be issued in dematerialized form on Euronext Securities Milan and the programme has been admitted for trading on ExtraMOT Pro.
Commercial Papers are a valid alternative for the use of short-term liquidity (from 1 to 12 months) of counterparties classified as professional or qualified according to MiFID regulations.
