Intesa Sanpaolo, through IMI Corporate & Investment Banking Division, has provided a 30 million euro loan to Gruppo Pietro Fiorentini, a historic company active in the development of products, solutions and services for the energy sector.
The credit line, with a duration of 5 years, provides a fixed interest rate and a pricing linked to the achievement of specific sustainability objectives such as the reduction of CO2 emissions of the company's entire fleet of vehicles and the launch of a series of ESG training courses for the company's staff.
The Pietro Fiorentini Group has also signed a strategic agreement with Intesa Sanpaolo Innovation Center to identify the best technologies and startups related to the development of renewable energy and the reduction of CO2 emissions.
