Funding Farmina Pet Foods for international development projects
Intesa Sanpaolo and Farmina Pet Foods, a company belonging to the Russo Mangimi Group based in Nola (Italy) and specialised in the production and sale of high-end pet foods, have signed a USD 25M loan agreement for the construction of a greenfield production site in the United States of America, as part of the internationalisation project of the Group, which is already present in Brazil and Serbia.
The loan was finalised by the Banca dei Territori Division in cooperation with the IMI Corporate & Investment Banking Division.
Supporting companies in relaunching their business in foreign markets helps implement one of the pillars of "Motore Italia", the strategic programme of loans and initiatives implemented by Intesa Sanpaolo to enable Italian small and medium-sized enterprises to overcome the difficult phase caused by the pandemic crisis and relaunch themselves through development and growth projects. The plan includes a national plafond of EUR 50Bn and makes available around EUR 2.5Bn in new credit for businesses in Campania.
