Dynamic Discounting: the new platform supporting supply chains

Intesa Sanpaolo, with its Global Transaction Banking Department, today launches Dynamic Discounting, a non-financial service designed, within the broader context of Supply Chain Finance, to enable its customers (Buyers) to manage their liquidity for the advance payment of invoices against a discount. The discount is called dynamic because it can vary according to the number of days of the advance payment and it is agreed between Buyer and Supplier directly on the platform.

Dynamic Discounting, developed in partnership with Kyriba - a fintech company and global leader in Supply Chain Finance solutions - is offered through a web-based platform integrated with Inbiz - Intesa Sanpaolo's Corporate Internet Banking solution -: it allows to connect Italian and foreign Suppliers (customers/non-customers of the Bank), to upload invoices, build and propose discounts and monitor operations. The solution integrates what is already available to the Buyer through Confirming, both solutions support supply chain and the optimisation of working capital, allowing advance payments of commercial invoices: Confirming using dedicated credit lines granted by our bank and Dynamic Discounting using any possible Buyer's own stock.

Key features include:

  • ease of use and activation in 'fully digital' mode
  • possibility of integration with management systems for automatic exchange of information on invoices and payments
  • possibility to extract reports in various formats
  • multi-currency and multi-language

The service meets the needs of both Buyer and Supplier, with benefits for both.
