Intesa Sanpaolo’s IMI Corporate & Investment Banking Division coordinated the pool of eight banks with which Padania Acque, manager of the Province of Cremona’s integrated water service, signed a EUR 134.5M loan to improve water quality and ensure sustainable purification.
The loan, maturing in December 2037, does not provide for guarantees from the Shareholders and is unique in the sector in terms of duration and structure.
The following banks took part in the transaction: UBI Banca (Intesa Sanpaolo Group), Banco BPM, Crédit Agricole Italia, MPS Capital Services Banca per le Imprese, Credito Padano Banca di Credito Cooperativo, Credito Valtellinese and Cassa di Risparmio di Bolzano-Sparkasse.
