The BAFT Europe Forum brings together global leaders in transaction banking, trade, and payments, along with other stakeholders, for a strategic dialogue on the forces shaping the future of the industry. It represents one of the most important regional events in the international banking calendar, a great opportunity to gain insights, inspiration and foster meaningful connections.

The 2026 edition will be held in London from March 3 to 5 and will be titled "Beyond Borders: Innovating Together”. In addition to plenary discussions led by global banking executives and industry experts, the program will include strategic panels on cross-border payments, regulatory developments, geopolitical dynamics, and emerging technologies shaping transaction banking.

Attendees will enjoy numerous networking opportunities and will have the opportunity to organize bilateral meetings in the BAFT Lounge to interact with clients, colleagues, and senior decision makers.

Intesa Sanpaolo, IMI Corporate & Investment Banking Division, is a Silver Sponsor of the conference.

For years, the Division has been participating not only in conferences but also in periodic working groups and roundtables to explore market developments and define guidelines for the international banking landscape. Last but not least, the Division has its own representative on the BAFT European Council.

On Thursday, March 5, at 9:30 a.m., Francesco G. Lucchese, Business Director Trade Finance Strategy at Global Transaction Banking, will speak at the plenary session entitled “Artificial Intelligence & Automation.
