Forum Milano-Palermo “Genio Mediterraneo” 

On Feb. 24, 2025, the Milan Palermo - Mediterranean Genius Forum will be held at the Teatro Massimo in Palermo, in the presence of the mayors of Milan Beppe Sala and Palermo Roberto Lagalla.

In a changing geopolitical context, Italy, due to its geographical location and cultural and economic heritage, can play a bridging role between Europe and the Mediterranean.

Milan, a barycenter of innovation and knowledge in the heart of productive and competitive Europe, and Palermo, an increasingly attractive hub for innovative start-ups and digital economy, together to strengthen the ties between the North and South of the country, in a European key.

Exponents from institutions, business and academia will discuss topics of considerable interest, such as: new industrial supply chains, infrastructure to support economic development and urban regeneration, environmental strategies for the protection and enhancement of the territory, universities and education, health, welfare and scientific research, new knowledge technologies with the impact of Artificial Intelligence.

Gaetano Miccichè, Chairman of the IMI CIB Division and International Banks Division of Intesa Sanpaolo, will speak at the opening of the event.
