Intesa Sanpaolo and all Group companies and banks subject to accessibility regulations are adapting their digital channels to the accessibility requirements set out in the relevant regulations, inspired by the values of their code of ethics.

The right to accessibility is one of the key factors to which the Group has always paid the utmost attention, including through constant review and maintenance of its digital channels and content.

Declaration of accessibility

Intesa Sanpaolo undertakes to make its website accessible, in accordance with Law No. 4 of 9 January 2004.

This declaration of accessibility relates to the website www.imi.intesasanpaolo.com.

Compliance status

This website is partially compliant with the requirements set out in Appendix A of UNI CEI EN 301549 regulation due to the cases of non-compliance listed below.

Non-accessible content

The content listed below is not accessible for the following reason:

Non-compliance with Law No. 4 of 9 January 2004

  • Some non-text content presented to the user does not have an equivalent text alternative that serves the same purpose.
  • Some information, structures and relationships have not been determined programmatically or are not available in text form.
  • Some instructions provided for understanding and operating the content are based solely on certain sensory characteristics of the components, such as shape, colour, size, visual location, orientation or sound.
  • On almost all pages, the contrast between the colour of some text and the background colour is not sufficient, as is the contrast between some graphic elements and the background colour.
  • In some visual presentations, the contrast ratio of at least 3:1 with respect to the colour or colours adjacent to user interface components and/or graphic elements and/or graphic parts necessary for understanding the content is not respected.
  • On some interactive elements, the focus indicator in the keyboard-accessible user interface is not visible.
  • Some features cannot be used via a keyboard interface.
  • On some web pages, some objects that could receive focus do not receive it in an order that preserves their meaning and operability.
  • The purpose of some links cannot be determined from the link text.
  • Some labels or instructions are not provided in content that requires user input.
  • There is no option for mandatory input fields to auto-complete.
  • When an error occurs, the type of error is not specified and is not announced by assistive technologies.
  • In some user interface components (including form elements, links and script-generated components), the name and role are not indicated at the code level; statuses, properties and values, when defined by the user, must be programmable; notifications of changes in the status of these elements must be displayed by user programmes, including assistive technologies.
  • There are multiple errors in the development code, such as text styles not being specified in CSS, which could cause the assistive technology to misunderstand the element.
  • Pre-recorded video content does not have synchronised subtitles or transcripts, and there are no non-text alternatives (audio description) for the text content shown in the video.
  • It is not possible to follow the preferences set by the user in the browser, such as font size, or to activate the documented accessibility features.
  • All PDFs contain images without text alternatives.
  • In all PDFs, the contrast between the colour of some text and the background colour is not sufficient, as is the contrast between some graphic elements and the background colour. In addition, some links are only distinguishable by colour.
  • In all PDFs, with the exception of ‘Dodd Frank Act Documentation - pdf’, page titles are absent or do not sufficiently explain their content; the language is not set correctly, with the exception of the documents ‘Studies and research - pdf A’ and ‘Studies and research - pdf B’
  • In all PDFs, the reading and navigation order using assistive technologies is not logical or intuitive and therefore does not correspond to the visual experience. Furthermore, keyboard navigation does not allow all parts of the documents to be accessed.
  • None of the PDFs are tagged. For this reason, information on structure, elements and content is not available to assistive technologies.
  • In all PDFs, with the exception of ‘Cash Management-Brochure gtb pdf’ and ‘Cash Management-Brochure Financial Institutions PDF’, links do not have a title and alternative text specified that assistive technologies can read to the user.

Accessible alternatives are available on the website via a specific tool.
