After graduating in Economics from the Luiss University of Rome, he is responsible for leading and executing Global Transaction Banking strategy across the Group through continuous improvement of the core product portfolio (Cash Management, Trade Finance, Acquiring, and Securities Services), a superior customer experience in corporate digital channels, and a focused development of strategic partnerships with fintech and key industry players.

With 25 years in the banking industry, he combines extensive experience in digital and transformational projects, broad managerial responsibilities in commercial banking, and thought leadership in the domestic and international payment communities.

He covered senior roles in the payment industry both in domestic and international contexts (SWIFT, Bancomat SpA, CBI, ECB MAG-Euro Digitale).

Head of Global Transaction Banking since August 2015.
